//We found it quite challenging thinking up ways to make sounds for some of the more interesting monsters such as the ones that look like slugs, as these needed to make wet noises as opposed to normal footsteps. After a great deal of thinking I came up with the idea to squelch shampoo in my hand, it wasn’t the most pleasant experience but the outcome was good.
//We started working on the foley sounds by using objects around the house such as toasters and blinds to make the sounds of the machinery in the film clip. We watched some videos on the sound works website to give us some inspiration of how to make some of the stranger sounds in the clip.

We have been tasked with creating a soundtrack to a 3 minute clip and we have chosen to use one of the given clips of Monsters inc. We started this process with the foley sounds as we thought that they would be the backbone of the soundtrack. We watched the clip and wrote a list of all the sounds we would need and worked through them chronologically.
